Mirador is a series of workshops and presentations promoted by Obrador de Moviments. It combines participatory workshops and presentations of works in progress or already completed, allowing the audience not only to witness the work, but also to become part of its process. Mirador is an invitation to look at, feel, and experience art in a lively and intimate way.

VLAD ION

In this session we are joined by Vlad Ion, a dancer, performer and creator based in Barcelona, with a trajectory that combines urban and contemporary dance. Vlad has worked with companies such as Nadine Gerspacher, Clémentine Télesfort & Lisard Tranis, Los Informalls, Vero Cendoya, Ziomara Hormaetxe and Toni Mira, and has developed his own projects including Shalott, St. Earnest, I HOPE and his current solo Me lo hice yo mismo.

“ME LO HICE YO MISMO”

Me lo hice yo mismo is a dance solo that seeks to make visible, through the body and its expressiveness, the internal struggle between what we show and what we repress in order to be accepted. The piece explores vulnerability, transformation and pleasure, inviting the audience to observe a character who, through the use of white paint, reveals their hidden faces. The body transforms, becoming plastic and mutable, creating an intimate and close space between the performer and the audience.

WORKSHOP

The workshop is accessible and open to everyone, whether you have danced before or have no previous experience. It offers a space for play, listening and sensitivity, where new physical and imaginative pathways of movement can be explored.

Through individual and group improvisation, accessible floorwork and acrobatic techniques, and spatial awareness exercises, participants will awaken a body that is available, articulated and attentive.
