MIRADOR with Marina Turroja

BOOK YOUR SPOT >

Mirador is a series of Workshop-Presentations promoted by Obrador de Moviments. It combines participatory workshops with presentations of works in progress or already completed, allowing the audience not only to witness the piece, but to become part of its process. Mirador is an invitation to observe, feel, and inhabit art in a vivid and close way.

MARINA TURROJA

In this session we welcome Marina Turroja, a Barcelona-based dancer, performer, and creator. Her practice lies at the intersection of contemporary dance, performance, and scenic research, with a particular interest in the relationship between body and space, presence, and forms of honesty in movement.

Her work combines formal training with ongoing research in movement, voice, and composition, while developing a parallel trajectory as a performer in both national and international projects. She currently focuses on collective processes and on the poetic and political dimensions of the body on stage.

“FUGA SUBCUTÀNIA”

piece created and assisted in collaboration with the collective Les nostres pells

“Subcutaneous Fugue” is a piece that explores the skin as a living space in constant transformation. Created in collaboration with the collective Les nostres pells, it is part of an ongoing scenic research project that approaches the skin through its physical, symbolic, and collective dimensions.

The work combines body, textile material, and audiovisual projections in a scenic practice that unfolds as an open process, inviting the audience to engage with what happens on stage.

TALLER

The workshop offers a space for exploration in relation to the project “Les nostres pells”, where movement, writing, and textile transformation intersect.

Starting from a personal garment, participants engage in a creative process that connects memory, imagination, and body, generating new ways of relating to what we wear and what we let go of.

Through collective work, a shared “skin” is created and explored in movement.

The workshop is open to all audiences, with no previous experience required.
